Each student receives undivided attention from his instructor. Lessons are customized to students requests. We provide services with Cabrinha and Dakine which are premium brands of Kiteboarding equipment. The gear is turned over every 4-5 months to ensure you have the best gear you can learn on no matter your level.
About the name of the school
The name 15 Knots was chosen because it is the average wind speed in the island of Puerto Rico where the school was founded and it is also an ideal wind speed to teach beginners the sport of Kiteboarding. If it’s blowing 15 knots, riders get motivated to go ride. Obviously the more experienced they get, the more wind they want. Maybe the next school will be 25 Knots…

Our services
15 Knots Kiteboarding School offers Kitesurfing lessons with jetski support. We offer 9hr, 12hr and 15hr courses for those looking to get certified to go solo. We also offer an accelerated experience for those that want to Kitesurf for just a day.
